Apple crisp was to die for and an added benefit was that it was made without dairy so I could have it! AMAZING! The staff were very knowledgable about ingredients in each of the products! Highly recommend!
The donuts are amazing—fresh, soft, and perfectly sweet. It was a huge time-saver not having to drive to Saugatuck. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality donuts without the long drive. Crane’s In The City what a great title!
Hungry for some good food? This is the place! We were in town for a week and ate here twice. The salads were so fresh. The croutons in the salad are donut chips...so good! The soup, grilled cheese and desserts are very good, too. Add this to your list of places to check out.
We needed to find lunch on the go. Crane’s in the City was close by and we decided to try them out. We were definitely impressed. You can tell that they care. They care about the food they serve and they care about their customers.
I love this place! Great for sandwiches or a salad. They are pretty quick, but still need to wait like 5 minutes for your tasty sandwich! The restaurant is a walk up to order and wait for your food at your table type restaurant. It is located in historic downtown Holland and the ambiance is a nice homey/country vibe.

Crane’s in the City is a nice outpost of the main Fennville restaurant. The chili still tastes the same and is of a recipe that’s sweeter and more tomato-based than most. It’s unique, and quite good. I had that along with a piece of apple crisp à la mode. The apple crisp is always excellent with the right combination of sweetness, salt, and spices. The quality of the food is great, but the price is a tad high. The service I received was prompt and thorough. Overall, this is a pleasant place for a snack or quick meal downtown.
The City Cristo (turkey, provolone, honey mustard and apple slices, grilled on apple butter bread and sprinkled with powdered sugar) was OUTSTANDING bursting with a variety of very pleasing flavors. The Reuben Panini sandwich was just OK, but I regretted ordering it after eating half of my wife's City Cristo.
